On October 16, 2013, Molly Ball, a staff writer covering national politics at The Atlantic, posted a blog on their website entitled: Republicans shut Down the Government for Nothing.
Ball reports: “The GOP will actually get less out of the final deal being brokered than the party would have gotten had House conservatives never staged their revolt on Obamacare. In fact, the drama is likely to end with Republicans ceding policy concessions to Democrats.”

On October 09, 2013, Calvin Woodward and Jennifer Agiesta wrote on HUFF POST website POLITICS, which was posted on October 12, 2013, the day of this writing, an article entitled: Government Shutdown Blamed On Republicans: Poll.
Keeping in mind the ongoing poll assessment is a very fluid gauge of how Americans feel about their governmental shutdown, nevertheless, it is obvious they feel the Republicans are primarily to blame for the shutdown.
Woodward and Agiesta report that “Overall,

On September 30, 2013, reporter Roger Simon wrote an outstanding political column on the website POLITICO entitled: The frauds on the Hill target Obama. He begins his column by raising the question, “Who are these people? Of what are they made that they can say and do such things on the floor of Congress? No nonsense is too great, no act too low.”
Just those introductory remarks alone set the stage for what follows,

On August 19, 2013, FoxNews.com, reported NJ Gov. Christie signs ban on controversial gay conversion therapy. That bill that the governor signed “bars licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, though the Republican said in a statement he did so ‘reluctantly.’”
Why he did so “reluctantly” was initially puzzlement to me.
The reason I say that is because he gave several excellent reasons for banning gay conversion therapy,

As I mentioned earlier, there wasn’t room in the last blog to fully answer the question I set out to answer then, which was: “How are we going to begin to protect our lives, forests and homes from fires set by terrorism?” I hope to share with you what I believe will be necessary to begin to address the problem.
On my last blog I talked about how polarized our country has gotten.

On August 19, 2012 I wrote a blog entitled: America is Under Attack by Terrorists Waging Economic Warfare by Fire. If you haven’t read the blog, I suggest you do so, since this blog is a continuation of what I discussed in the last one. In that blog I briefly discussed a video entitled Fire Wars. The video was made available by the Economic Warfare Institute at American Center for Democracy’s (ACD) website,

“There is just no question that stop-question-frisk has saved countless lives.

On July 9, 2013, I received from a friend an emailed video entitled “Fire Wars,” published almost a year earlier, on August 13, 2012, by the American Center for Democracy (ACD). It was a presentation made by William B. Scott, a Fellow at ACD’s Capitol Hill briefing on the Threat of Economic Warfare Against the United States.
Scott is a former National Security Agency official and Aviation Week editor,

John Hrabe, a freelance journalist, on May 15, 2013, posted on HUFFPOST BUSINESS’S THE BLOG, an article entitled Goodwill Minimum Wage Loophole Will Shock You.
He begins the article by saying forthrightly, “Goodwill Industries is the worst charity in America.”
In a recent investigation for Watchdog.org, Hrabe reported “…that a majority of Goodwill entities in the United States pay people with disabilities less than the federal minimum wage,

The question before all Americans, “Is Edward Snowden a whistle blower and a hero or a criminal and a traitor?”

Starr and Yan reported that Snowden acknowledged he had revealed the source of documents outlining a “massive effort” by the U.S.
